Subscription packaging is a printed mailer that ships without an outer carton, with an insert that holds each item. The same box goes out every month, so durability and a repeatable size matter more than a one-off flourish.
The catch is cost per shipment. A heavy rigid box every month eats margin. Keep rigid for the welcome box and use corrugated for the monthly one. Print the inside of the lid, since that is what gets filmed.

E-flute and B-flute corrugated boxes printed with your logo and sized to the product.
Tuck-end cartons for the shelf. Ship flat, fold in seconds, print edge to edge.
Guide 1
Monthly box: corrugated mailer, sized to the largest likely month.
Welcome box: a rigid box, once. People keep it.
Inner items: pouches and small cartons inside, packed on a printed insert.
Guide 2
Design the box for the fullest month, then fill space with paper on lighter months. A new size means a new dieline and a new order.
Honest fit
If you haven't tested the box with real subscribers, start with 50 units before you commit to a long run. If the contents change shape every month, a stock mailer with a printed sleeve is more flexible.
