Foldwell Packaging

Jewelry packaging with the weight of the piece.

Jewelry packaging is a small rigid box, drawer box or pillow box with an insert that holds the piece in place. The box has to look as good as what is inside, and it is often kept.

The catch is the insert. A ring, a chain and a pair of earrings each need a different one, and the insert often costs more thought than the box. Tell us what you sell and we draw the insert with the box.

Guide 1

Which box for which piece

Rings and earrings suit a small rigid box with a foam or paperboard insert.

Necklaces need a flat box or a drawer with a slot for the chain.

Low-cost pieces can go in a pillow box with a printed sleeve.

Starting out

If you are still working out the business, read how to start a jewelry business. A first run of 50 units is enough to test a design before ordering more.

When this is the wrong page

Best value starts at 50 boxes. For fewer we can consider it, but stock jewelry boxes with a printed card may cost less. We make boxes, not jewelry pouches or polishing cloths.

FAQ

Jewelry packaging questions.

What box is best for rings?

A small rigid box with an insert cut to the band, or a drawer box for a gift set.

Can I get a logo foil-stamped?

Yes. Foil is the most common finish on jewelry boxes. Most boxes need one finish, not three.

What is the minimum order?

Best value starts at 50 units per design, because of logistics and shipping. If you need fewer, tell us: we can consider smaller orders.

Do you supply the insert?

Yes. The insert is drawn with the box.
