Foldwell has no office, showroom or warehouse in New York City. That suits a city where space is tight: everything runs by email, boxes ship flat in cartons, and you only store what you need.

- One person on email. One packaging specialist handles your order from the first sketch to delivery. We reply to quote requests in 12–24 hours.
- Plan from the proof, not the first email. Production takes 10–12 days from proof approval. Shipping to New York City is on top of that.

Selling beyond New York
Packaging laws to watch if you sell from New York.
New York hasn't enacted a packaging extended producer responsibility law. A bill, S1464 and A1749, has passed the state Senate in earlier sessions but not the Assembly, according to the New York State Senate bill page. Check the current status before you rely on that.
- The laws that exist follow where you sell. A New York brand shipping to customers in states with packaging laws may have obligations there, wherever the boxes are made. Our Dallas page and Los Angeles page cover two of them.
- Flat-packed boxes save room. Mailers, cartons and sleeves arrive flat, so a small studio or a shared storeroom can hold a run.
- Paper boxes are the simplest starting point. Skip lamination and window film and a box stays easy to recycle.
Our take: soft-touch lamination undoes the point of a paper box. Our paper-first materials are 100% recyclable. Soft-touch and window film add a plastic layer the box didn't have. We make boxes, not legal calls, so check your labels with whoever handles compliance.

Do you have an office in New York City?
