Overview
What does a bath bomb box need to do?
The catch is moisture. A bath bomb absorbs damp from the air and goes soft, so the box can't be the only barrier. Wrap the bomb first, in a thin film or paper, then put it in the box. We make the box, not the wrap.
It has to hold a round, fragile product still, show what it is, and carry the ingredients and warnings. That usually means a cradle or a shaped insert, a window or die-cut, and room on the back panel for text.
Gift sets of three to six bombs need a shallow tray with a cradle per bomb. Single bombs suit a small carton or a pillow box.
- Window carton. A tuck-end box with a die-cut window. See custom folding cartons.
- Pillow box. A curved box that suits a single sphere. See custom pillow boxes.
- Gift set tray. A rigid or paperboard tray with a cradle per bomb. See custom gift boxes.
- Kraft sleeve. A printed band around stock boxes. See custom box sleeves.

Board and build
Which bath bomb box?
Pick by how many you sell at a time.
| Format | Holds | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Window carton | One bomb | Shelf and online |
| Pillow box | One bomb | A softer, giftier look |
| Tray with cradles | Three to six | Gift sets |
| Sleeve | Stock box | Low-cost branding |
A die-cut hole shows the bomb without adding plastic window film.
Compare
Window film or die-cut hole?
Both let buyers see the bomb. They differ in plastic and protection.
| Window film | Die-cut hole | |
|---|---|---|
| Keeps dust out | Yes | No |
| Recycles with the box | No | Yes |
| Look | Clear and glossy | Open, natural |
| Best for | Fragile or colored dust | Plastic-free brands |
If plastic-free matters, a die-cut hole is the better choice. Wrap the bomb first so the hole isn't the only barrier.
Sizing
Sizing a bath bomb box
Send the diameter of the bomb at its widest point. Round products need a cradle, so the box depth follows the diameter.
Don't add clearance yourself. We add it when we draw the dieline. See how to measure a box if you're unsure.
Who uses bath bomb packaging
- Bath and body makers. A window carton per bomb. See soap boxes.
- Gift set sellers. A tray with a cradle per bomb for holidays.
- Wellness brands. See wellness packaging.
- Wholesale to retailers. A counter display box that holds several.
Finishes
One finish, on the logo.
Aqueous coating goes on every box by default. Add one more at most.
Foil stamping
Metallic foil on the logo. It catches the light on the shelf.
Spot UV
Gloss on one area of a matte box. Good for a logo, bad for small text.
Debossing
Pressed in, no ink. Works on kraft as well as white board.
Aqueous coating
Water-based and on every box by default. It recycles with the box.

Drop your artwork onto the dieline. We check bleed, folds and barcodes, and send a digital proof.

FAQ
Custom bath bomb packaging: questions.
What is the minimum order for bath bomb packaging?
Best value starts at 50 units per design, because of logistics and shipping. If you need fewer, tell us: we can consider smaller orders.
How long do bath bomb packaging take?
10–12 days on most orders, counted from proof approval. Shipping time is on top and depends on where the boxes are going.
Do you charge for structural design?
No. Structural design is $0. We draw the dieline around your product, and you only pay once you order boxes.
Do you supply the shrink wrap for bath bombs?
No. We make the printed box. Wrap the bomb in your own film or paper first so humidity doesn't soften it.
Can I get a window on the box?
Yes, with window film or a die-cut hole. A hole recycles with the box. Film adds plastic.
Can I order in bulk for wholesale?
Yes. Bulk is where per-box cost comes down. Tell us the quantity and we'll quote it.
Honest fit
When not to hire us.
You need to wrap the bombs too
We make the box, not the film wrap. If you need shrink wrap or sleeves for the bomb itself, a wrapping supplier is the right call.
You only need a handful of boxes
Best value starts at 50 units, because of logistics and shipping. For 10 or 20 we can consider it, but the cost per box is higher and a stock box with a printed sticker may cost you less.
You need boxes next week
Production runs 10–12 days before shipping. If your launch is sooner, buy stock boxes now and switch to custom for the next run.
You want plain brown boxes
If nothing gets printed, a stock box supplier is cheaper and faster. We're worth it once the box carries your brand.
How big is the bomb?
Send the diameter and how many you sell per box, and how many boxes you need.
